A warm and heartfelt thank you for attending the closing event ‘European Year of Skills: What Comes Next?’! We are pleased that you joined us for celebrating the Year, its achievements, people, and looking into the future of skills development and working together, with over 1400 participants in Brussels and online. 95% of participants who responded to the post-event survey assessed the organisation of the event as very good or excellent and 89 % appreciated its content.

The European Year of Skills ended on 8 May, but as you know, this was just the beginning. You heard Commissioner Nicolas Schmit call for (at least) a decade of skills “The push coming from the Year of Skills should be continued and even increased, the spark is there – now we have to get the fire burning.”
